As the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2020 comes to an end, it’s time to take a look back at some of the new technologies that were revealed. Below are a few gadgets that caught our eyes that we are excited for.
- TCL's Foldable Phone – Folding phones are starting to make a comeback. Foldable smartphones are still in their infancy (new technology, premium price) but the new TCL foldable phone is promising to cost less than the current foldable phones on the market (currently $1500+)
- Samsung Ballie - A mix between a smart home device and a robotic companion. The Ballie, equipped with cameras and sensors, follows you around and works similarly to other smart home devices (Alexa, Google Home, etc.)
- Segway S-Pod – A new two-wheeled self-balancing stroller from Segway can hit speeds of up to 24 mph. This uses a joystick to move and has safety features like automatic braking and turn signals. Of course, this is not a necessary purchase, but definitely an interesting one.
- Impossible Pork – While not necessarily a “gadget”, during CES, Impossible Foods revealed they are rolling out a plant-based pork replacement. The main ingredients being soy, sunflower oil, and coconut oil, this new food can bring the taste of pork to vegans and vegetarians.
These are just a few of the new and innovative gadgets and tech that has been revealed at CES 2020. We are quite excited for what 2020 has in store and hope you are as well!
