On January 15, Google announced a price increase for Google Workspace subscriptions as Gemini AI is now included with many Workspace applications (vs Microsoft CoPilot which is an additional subscription). The increases will be effective on March 17, 2025, and are effective immediately for new subscriptions, and on renewal for annual subscribers.
The new pricing is as follows:
Increase from $7.20 to $8.40 USD per user for Business Starter
Increase from $14.40 to $16.80 USD per user for Business Standard
Increase from $21.60 to $26.40 USD per user for Business Plus (our recommended subscription)
Increase from $7.20 to $8.40 USD per user for Cloud Identity Premium
Google Enterprise pricing has similar increases, you will hear from us if you have Enterprise plans through Hybridge.
Overall, Google Workspace is still a compelling value, even if including Gemini isn’t a transformative change for most clients.
